About LinkBacksSo I was looking at my old X and my new x on the about phone page and i noticed that they had different kernels??? The only difference is the old one is .602 would that change the kernel tho?

I should have added that the issue with the locked bootloader means we can not flash custom kernels on the DX. But official kernel changes by Moto do happen when updating builds. -

02-09-2012 12:02 PMIm not entirely sure what kernels are? Or what I'd be able to do with an unlocked bootloader as the X is my first smartphone :O

02-09-2012 03:45 PMYeah since you do have an X I wouldn't worry too much about it. But if you ever have an unlocked one kernels are another thing you can flash and customize on your device to try and get the most out of it.
