"Low on space-Phone storage space is getting low" AND an email question

This is what I am seeing on my phone. It didn't come up until I downloaded several games. I have 8 games total and that's it. It just doesn't seem like it should take up that much space. Being the newbie that I am to the phone, I really don't know what to do to manage my apps. Any words of wisdom on what to do?

And the email question... If I delete the emails on my phone before looking at them on my laptop, it also deletes them from the server. So when I do get on the laptop, those emails aren't there. I have since learned to not delete what I need on my laptop. But it's a bit aggravating to try and remember what to delete and not delete. There's has to be a setting somewhere on the phone or my laptop (I used MS Outlook) to keep this from happening. I know with my BB, it didn't matter if I deleted off the phone. It still was on my laptop later.

    Thanks for the help.

You can try deleting the cache of some of your apps.

For email, use k9 and uncheck "delete from server when I delete on phone"

I did look at the cache of all the apps that showed up when I click on the warning icon for the low space. And none of them seem to have anything in their caches because they weren't active links. Anything else? Or any other way to check that?

Okay so I see now that this is not just me. I looked at another Droid Forum site and apparently it's some sort of bug. I cleared some data from my FB app and it got rid of the warning. But it seems to be a pretty big issue. Nice.
