Getting an inc replaced through Asurion, do i need to de-root?

So, my wife was using my old DINC, and she dropped it, cracked the screen.

Her line has the phone insurance plan with Verizon, so i called them up, and they're going to replace the DINC. Which is cool.

Problem is, they want the one one back. It still powers up, but the screen's cracked. I have it rooted, and CM9 installed. I'm going to wipe it, of course, but i'm wondering if i send it back to them as is, will they balk at the fact that it's rooted/modded?

If so, is there a howto on restoring one of these to stock?

    Thanks.

Thanks! I was just reading in the droid hacks forum, and found this:
How to correctly unroot the Incredible

Looks like that'll do the trick. Replacement came today, so i'll give this a shot on the old phone tomorrow and see how it goes.
