Help With HTC Incrediable

I have a Verizon HTC Incredible and I would like to know how to do a full backup.. Since I play some games on it I would like to be able to back up my Saved Game and Even the Game itself and my contacts Etc etc Then I plan on doing a complete reboot of the phone I keep getting a low on space message Even though I went through and deleted Every Game/Program I downloaded except for Angry Birds & like 2 other apps.

If I could get a walk-though on how to root the phone and back it all up that would be great also I would love to know how to get the new Android V2.3 on my phone since right now its only 2.2.
