    Unhappy part of screen not working, can't get past lock

    Today part of my screen on my dinc stopped working. it is roughly the lower middle portion. i cant get past my pattern lock and i tried using the forgot password option, i can get everything in except for the number 3 by using the keys that i can access on the keyboard and the voice command function. I would really like to be able to get past the lock so i can turn it off and have partial functionality on my phone while i wait for verizon to send me my replacement phone. any help would be greatly appreciated!

    got past lock

    ok so i was able to get past the screen lock, the problem with the forgot password route was not being able to enter my password, so i went online and changed my password to my gmail account to letters and numbers that my phone would allow me to input. however if anyone has any ideas on why the screen is doing this i would appreciate those too

    Did you flash a kernel recently and/or change the radio?
    Are you running a rom that uses gestures?
