RUU or equivalent for Android 2.2

As some of you may already know, I used that downgrade method to go from Android 2.2 to 2.1. And since I have an SLCD screen, the drivers are incompatible.

I tried to blindly update via an SD card zip file update in HBOOT, but no luck.

An RUU would do the trick, installing the update via my computer (my monitors work )

But I contacted HTC support, and they don't make RUU's for OTA-released updates.

Any suggestions/assistance would be awesome.

Keep in mind, I can't see the screen, but I am almost certain it goes into HBOOT.

Just boot it up normally.

You'll have to install HTC sync first as well.

Hooray! it's up and running flawlessly. I immediately rooted with unrevoked3, and once again, Barnacle and Wireless Tether for Android won't work. They turn on and get SuperUser permission, but alas, my computer won't connect to the internet, nor will my iPod.

Any ideas?

Thanks again, by the way. There's a site that has all those RUU's, but their server is messed up or something- the download would always fail mid download.
