02-19-2011 06:58 PMThe kernel makes the rom go, its the brain / engine that directs the processor and software (rom). Be certain when flashing kernels that if you are on a sense rom, that you flash a sense kernel. Same story with AOSP rom, the kernels are different for sense and AOSP, and you will bootloop if you flash a sense kernel on an AOSP rom, and vice versa. hth
