I'm not a developer or anything, but I am a power user. I've tried various ROMs and kernels before I found the right combination.
CM7 is always a solid choice, but I would get 3-6 reboots a day so I flashed Incredikernel. This gives you USB fast charge, overclocking/underclocking + voltage modifications, great battery life, and zero reboots. If you primary concerns are stability and battery life I highly recommend this combination. I have yet to find a ROM/kernel combo that can beat this. -

Adding IncrediControl from the market works even better. It allows you to control the kernel quite a bit better.

If I may ask...which version of incredikernel would one install.
And I assume cm7 is a port so would someone be so kind as to link me to the needed files?
