    Stop 2.3.4 ota notification nag and download.

    I am running SkyRaider 4.3 rom and I want to stop 2.3.4 ota Verizon notification nag and download. I searched the web and found 2 zip files that people created 2 to flash and stop any further nags and downloads of ota updates, but the links are dead. Can anyone help?

    I found a solution. I followed instructions at the following web link. There are two methods and I did both. The only thing I didn't do was freeze the download folder.

    I used ES File Explorer to do all the file editing. Its free unlike root explorer. Just make sure you go into the settings and select root explorer option and the mount file system option. Your phone must be rooted to use the two options in ES File Explorer.
    So far no nag or download.
