    Cool How to Root (2.3.4) and Un-root your Incredible!

    So if i just got a inc and have no previous backup I just install the cw file on the sd card, download a rom from the web and also put it on the card and then install the rom and it will be rooted? Sorry I am coming from a d1 and it was already rooted so I am new to it.

    But after reading, since my phone comes with 2.3.4 with s-on I'm SOL aren't I?

    Is there a way to turn S-off? I was fine with my phone for a long time but recently decided to root. But I also got the gingerbread OTA and realised when I went to use unrevoked that it wasn't able to root if you got the OTA. So now I've been watching for any word that a stable root has been achieved.
