    Switching SD cards

    My phone is rooted and ROMd with CM7 RC1 and i'd like to upgrade to RC2, but my 2GB SD card is full. I have a 16GB card i'd like to put in but I'm wondering what will happen if I switch it out. Do I have to transfer all my files from the 2GB card? Or can I just take it out and put in the 16GB card and be fine?

    Copy contents of the smaller to the larger. Be sure to unmount before removal.

    There's stuff on the sd that interacts with the ROM on boot, take it away and you bootloop.

    Yeah, don't take any chances. Make a back up of it as well and put that on your computers desktop….just in case.

    i got a inc yesterday, put in my 16 gb from my D1, and its all just fine!
    rooted, installed cm7 rc2, and wow, pretty nice phone!.
    Past not so smart phones:
    HTC 6700, 6800, Touch Pro.
    Now i have a robot
