Ok so I just flashed cyanogens 6.1.0-inc and well it doesn't have an option for the market and its kinda laggy so decided to restore and then go with redemption .... well the rom manager that came with it is out of date so wants me to install a new one and it fcs .... ok so said hell with it n went to hboot n tried restoring there and it gets stuck at checking MD5 sums and wont go no further .... also tried installing the redemption Tom from there n it wont install either so wth lol never had this happen before..... any ideas?? I posted this on the phone so it still works...

Did you rename the backup? It can't have spaces or special symbols in it.

No didn't rename it.. still the date ect

How long did you wait? I did the same last night but I just let it run and it took quite a while(felt like forever more like 5 min. or so.) for it to continue. It felt like a long time checking the md5 but then it just went.
