    sorta emergency...getting out of hboot without changing anything?

    ok, so i got into hboot without meaning to...my volume button was pressed without realizing it as i turned the phone back on. what do i do to get out of hboot without doing a factory reset or anything else that would wipe my phone?

    i'm not looking to root.
    i'm not looking to install a rom.
    i just want to exit hboot without doing anything to my phone. how can i?

    i ended up pulling the battery. primitive, but seemingly effective. everything appears unchanged, thankfully. now, there must be a better way of backing out of hboot though. anyone know? surely the google, htc, etc figured someone would accidentally get into hboot and left them a way to return to normal functions without doing a factory reset or pulling the battery, no?

    wait, 116 views and no one can explain how to exit hboot? or why my hboot doesn't list a "reboot" option? people, enter hboot on your own phone...get out of it...tell me how you did it. thanks.

    If you have unrooted stock rom, select Fastboot.
