Silencing the Notification Sound

Does anyone know of an easy way to silence the email notification without having to go to the audio settings? What I really want is an app that will silence the notify sound during whatever time I specify. I don't want my email alert waking me up at night but I do want to hear the phone if it rings. Or, is there an app that will disable email with just one or two touches on the screen or during scheduled hours?

You can just go to account settings when you open your email, and choose silent.

There is an app called Silent Time Lite, that I think does what you are wanting to do.
