    Screen Lock doesn't mute anymore?

    HTC Sense screen lock you just gesture down to unlock.

    I also noticed you can just hit the "menu" button to unlock.

    But also, the feature of muting the sound by gesturing from fright to left does not mute. That was a nice feature from my moto droid.

    Any one know of a 3rd party app to replace the mute from lock feature?

    Yeah this is annoying... still trying to figure out how I'm supposed to mute the phone.

    I also HATE that it makes you use the regular keyboard and input a password + press "unlock" if your Exchange server sets an unlock policy. And it makes you enter it every single time.

    The policy says the timeout can be up to 15 minutes (instead of instant) and that only a PIN is needed. The Droid ignored this policy so I didn't have to do anything, and the iPhone and WinMo devices showed a number pad which was easier to enter the PIN on and didn't require me to hit another enter/unlock button after entering it correctly.

    I really hope HTC issues an update to resolve this, this really inhibits my use of the device.
