1x1 Power Control Widget?
Hey guys, first post from a lurker because I've finally come across something I couldn't find via search. I finally got sick of my rooted OG Incredible's constant low memory error, com.htc.bgp errors, and most recently a cascading Google Framework Service process.something.gapps error and process.htc.phone (IIRC) error that I couldn't FC out of fast enough. I gave up, battery pull, and got stuck in an endless HTC->Quietly Amazing or whatever->Droid Eye boot loop. Following advice here I wiped everything via ClockworkMod Recovery and all is well, reloaded most apps (sans data) from Titanium and I'm good as new.
The interesting thing is that I used MyBackup Pro to restore call logs, sms, settings, and my home screens, and when switching back to my former home screen it loaded it a bit differently and inserted the power control widget, squeezed down into 1x1 size, on the first screen. Pic related. I've never seen it before and can't recreate it again. It's actually awesome, I love it. Just opened up three extra spots on my homescreen and the buttons are still sensitive enough to allow you to tap any of the five bars with relative precision. Has anyone else ever seen this or know how I did it?

Go to your home screen and long press, go to widget and get the power control. Click ok then it should ask you how big you want it. It defaults at 4x1 but u can change it to 1x1

This has always been my favorite widget

I've never seen this before either LOL!
Looks funny. Don't get how you can hit that with precision, especially if you use your thumbs.

I dunno, it doesn't seem to allow me to change the size. I add the widget through either long press on the home screen or the + softkey, but after selecting Power Control the 4x1 widget pops up with no further opportunity to select the size. I even tried installing it with only one open space to see if it would then default to 1x1 again, but I can't seem to crunch it down. Dezymond is right, it's a bit too small to be practical but 2x1 would probably do the trick and free up two extra home screen slots, so I'm interested. Any further insight? I'm still on stock rooted Froyo with stock Sense UI.
Davishusband - I love this widget too! And now I might only have to pay half the space penalty for it?! total win
