factory reset?

This is a discussion on factory reset? within the Droid Incredible General Discussions forums, part of the Droid Incredible Forum category; if i do this reset, will it delete my pictures and everthing saved on the phone.. other than apps, contacts?...

    Question factory reset?

    if i do this reset, will it delete my pictures and everthing saved on the phone.. other than apps, contacts?

    It will erase everything including apps and contacts. It will bring it back to exactly how it was when you first bought it.

    Yes but what the member failed to mention is that when you sign into your Google account your apps and contacts will be restored.

    In most cases all apps are restored but there is the possibility that only your paid apps will be available. If they don't restore on their own go to the Market, My Apps and you can download them there.

    Also any music or pictures that are saved to your sd card will not be erased. A factory reset for the most part doesn't effect the sd card
