    Question on OS upgrade

    for those of you who had the incredible when it was 2.1 and got the OTA 2.2 upgrade, when u do a factory reset on the phone to wipe memory/fix bugs w/e u do it for, does it reset to the original 2.1 OS or the upgraded 2.2?

    The reset will wipe your data and settings, but you will still be on 2.2.

    Ok so when/if (for those of u that r skeptical of gingerbread upgrade) we get the gingerbread upgrade if we do a factory reset it will stay on 2.3?

    A factory reset DOES NOT effect the OS at all. The reset simply erases all settings and brings it back to an "out-of-box" phone. Whatever your OS is...it will stay the same.
