Recovery of Data from Damaged SD Card

I had searched all the specialized shops in Athens, Greece trying to locate someone or some company that could recover the pictures of an 8GB SD card that my wife damaged. I spoke with many of the so called experts locally and none of them where able to find or direct me towards a solution. Before that I had tried downloading several programs which claimed that they could repair or recover the lost data (i.e. pictures, videos, etc.) and unfortunately none of these worked at all. To be honest I was about to give up when I came across on the net of this website: http://card-recovery.biz/us/service.php . I read their offer which was pretty good. Actually I had nothing to lose since if they could not salvage the data there were no strings attached. All I would have lost is the postage stamps I had paid for. To my surprise two days after having received a message that they had received the memory card I received an e-mail advising me that they had recovered all the data with a sample of more than 50 percent of the material which was recovered, which was actually a lot more than what I had expected. As far as I am concerned I give them 10 thumbs up. And my wife is going to get the surprise of a lifetime, not to mention that I will be getting my favorite dinner for at least a month!!!!!
