Gelaskin vs. Decalgirl vs. Uniqueskins, etc.

I swear I did a search and wasn't about to find exactly the answer I'm looking for.

I want to get a skin for my Incredible but I want to be able to use the clear plastic case I have over it. My understanding is that none of the available skins (all of which seem super cool) will actually offer protection to the phone - they just look cool. Hence, my thinking I'll still want to use my clear plastic case.


Any insights, opinions, etc regarding the differences between the different options and the ability to use them with a clear plastic case would be much appreciated. Thanks!
