Unlock my Incredible 2

I have a verizon Incredible 2 and it is rooted to run ice cream sandwich. I want to unlock it so i can put any sim card in it and have it work. More specifically an AT&T one. If you could help me out by telling me how to do this that would be great!

No one has any idea? I can navigate to settings and change the network to gsm only and find AT&T, however when I try to connect it gives me an error saying "unable to connect try again later".

First you will have to temporarily flash a stock based rom.

Then call VZW and get the unlock code, put it in.

After that you can flash back to ics. (The sim unlock is permanent and has no relation to which rom you are running.) as long as it supports gsm

Are you aware that with data you will only get 2g(edge) speeds? you will not b able to get 3g speeds with AT&T here in the US.

Thank you, I unlocked my phone but now I can not get a signal. Do you have any idea why, and if so do you know anything I can do? I thought it has something to do with the apn number but I'm not sure. Any information you have is greatly appreciated.

Is the sim activated?

Have u tried to update the prl for att?

Other than that I believe you may have to ask around over at xda.

I have never used a different carrier sim card in mine before.
