    S-Off vs. Unlocked Bootloader

Anyone know if we need the bootloader unlocked if we already have S-Off? I have flashed a few ROMs already and was wondering if I would need to go unlock my bootloader to gain more customization options. Can we change kernels and overclock with a locked bootloader?

S-Off is the best option. If you only unlock the bootloader via HTCDev then you will have to flash the boot.img from a computer through adb.
So no flashing if you are too far away from your computer.
S-Off allows you to do anything from radios to kernels.

So, I rooted and gained s-off but haven't unlocked my bootloader through the HTC site. It sounds like I don't need to do this and can do everything I could on my rooted OGDroid.

    Thanks,

Correct. No you do not need to unlock bootloader through HTCDev site.
