I'm going to say no to be honest. If the Incredible needs numerous steps compared to the Z4 method, then I doubt the Incredible 2 will be able to be rooted via Z4. I believe both phones are running the same 2.2 OS stock but possibly with a different baseband. So I doubt that Z4 will be able to root the Incredible 2.
