I just took the plung and rooted using the z4root app. I was reading that one of the advantages to rooting is being able to move more apps to the SD. I didn't see where this happened automaticly so is their an app for that or what?

For "rooted" phones
Titanium Backup will let you move apps from phone to SD card.
Move 2SD Enabler also does this.

Not all apps can be stored on an SD card. tap meun, tap settings, tap applications, tap all, tap an application. If the move to SD card box is grayed out it can not be moved to the SD card. If it is white tap and it will be moved.
Hope this is helpful.
