Without getting into too much detail, here's the short of it....

On Dec. 19th will be the 1 year anniversary of my Daughter's death. My wife and I are Still struggling to accept it. If anyone would be able to create a custom Boot for me, I would appreciate it more than you would know. Attached is the image, feel free to do whatever you'd like to it (i.e. effects and whatnot). Here's a little more information if you'd like to place it somewhere as well.

idk what else to really say. I understand this is asking a lot for someone that I don't even know to do for me, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I saw that there is a thread on how to do this, and it's not because i'm lazy by any means, I just really don't have that kind of time. Thank You to everyone who took the time to read, and/or consider this.

Thank you both. This was the first forum I every joined after purchasing my droid. I knew if any place had the talent and willingness to help others, it would be here. The vast majority of people that belong to this forum are Always willing to help with little to no gain for themselves.

I'm going to give it a shot..... I have done a little bit with boots before. And I have a little time. I'll see what I can come up with.

If your talking about boot logos I've used Droid 1 Boot Logo Generator to make some in a few mins. I'll try to attach a zip that includes the image and an sbf of one I made. I flashed the sbf using rsd lite and it worked on my droid. I'm sad to hear of your loss. My little sister experienced the same and is now expecting her 3rd. Best wishes to your wife and you.

So forgive my ignorance... Is this one of those files that would be the same as bootanimation.zip? That I would just place in the appropriate directory, our do I just go ahead and flash it?

The sbf is just a boot logo. Unzip to find the sbf and flash it with rsd lite to replace the M logo on start up.

If you want something to replace the boot animation I could make you one. I'm not good with the 'animations' yet so it will be a still picture.
