Google news widget works on droid

Any one else noticing this widget becoming a memory hog? mine goes from 3mb to 16mb if I click on the news ticker to read headlines, only happens with the news ticket and not the weather widget though.

yeah it does go mem up on advanced task manager showing 25K of memory taken up by this lil guy

I wonder if it's suppose to be that high or if it's just a result of an incompatibility/memory leak?

do you have it set to pre-load news articles? If you turn that off it takes longer to load a full article in the news browser, but it should free up a lot of space...little trick

Unfortunately, no. I even have it to refresh every six hours.

I can not get this to work. when i try to launch from Astro it says "cannot be opend". Any help?
