Can't open Nandroid submenu Droid 2.1

Heres the deal, I rooted my droid and was looking to start seeing what all I could do via tutorials etc. Seeing as how i have no tech experience at all with this type of thing. Anyways i noticed i should have a backup option when booting to the recovery mode.

Heres what I see when i go to recovery mode

    Reboot system now
    apply sdcard:update.zip
    wipe data/factory reset
    wipe cache partition

So if you know how to fix this maybe a step by step/how to guide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks guys

If those are your options then you lost sprecovery somewhere. You can flash it via rsdlite. In the Droid labs section there's a good walkthrough on it. "Proper way to use rsd" I believe is the title.

    Sent from somewhere...

Root Droid 1 - regardless of OS version

Would one of these sbf files fix my problem..thats where I think the problem lies, cause i tried a different sbf file from another site and it completely wrecked my phone. Then i reinstalled the old sbf file and it was fine. but should i get just the recovery or the complete boot?
