Custom Copper Battery Heatsink-Like Cover

Just thought i would share a couple pictures of this copper battery cover i made, it actually helped quite a bit both with the processor and the battery temps. Temps still reach as high as they did before but they cool down A LOT faster after intensive use or multiple benchmarks, overall i believe it was worth the work. Plus its unique and i love the way it looks. Enjoy!

Thank you very much. And i spent a day on and off on it. Hardest part was just making sure to get EXACT measurements. But yes i can replicate it, and hm titanium would be pretty sweet. Thanks for the idea now im going to be pondering where to find a sheet of titanium lol. But i did copper because of its heat dissipating abilities.

Silver is the best heat conductor and not horribly pricy.

looks good, you should think about replacing the whole back plate itself as well as the battery cover to get maximum heat dissipation and better cooling.

while your at it, throw some low profile fan mount threads into the design.

black on the front, silver on the back; or hell, you could probably even do a fully silver constructed case.
