    ADB question

    Hello all. Ive been gettin my feet wet with some theming lately. ive been theming my app, putting replacing it in the original update.zip, and then reflashing. Rebooting gets tiring after a while. Can i just push apps into /system/apps while yhe phone is on? Thanks as always.

    you can do that yes, but you'd still require a reboot in order for it to take effect

    Thats fine, i just hate going into recovery. So, how do i go about this. Is this where i enter "adb shell"?

    yep, you'll connect your phone, navigate to the sdk tools folder on your computer and enter

    Code:
    adb shell
su
sysrw
    after entering su you should get a prompt on your phone to allow superuser permissions, just click allow...

    after that you just use pull/push commands to transfer files, apks from/to your computer. after your done you type:

    Code:
    adb reboot
    and that's it (I use Linux for this btw, but I imagine the commands are the same across all OS's)
