    Clone?

    Hey guys!

I'm new here, but I had a question and I figured it belonged it the hack section, as I don't think there's any other way to do this.

My LCD screen on my Droid is loose on the left side and I'm going to take it to the VZW store and have them exchange it for me.

I wanted to know if theres a way to make a 'clone' of my current droid config (applications, texts, etc...) that I can then reload onto the new Droid.

I've searched a bit and haven't really found any answers yet.

Basically I want to be able to reload an image of my current Droid onto the new one once I get it.

    Possible?

    Thanks!
    -Mike

Use the new recovery image: Software:Images - Droid-Devs

.11 allows for full backup and recovery to/from the SDCard. This of course requires that you root the phone and such, so you'll have to note all of your steps and undue them when you're done.
