wierd rooted droid error please look

hey so today i rooted my 2.2 FroYo Droid 1
using soup or root method (souproot.wordpress.com)
i purchased the premium ROM manager from the market
then i flashed the current clockworkmod recovery and attempted to install
my first ROM - Ultimate Droid Froyo Beta

it continued to install normally, going into recovery and when it was done,
it re-booted my phone and it booted with the stock droid eye and nothing was changed at all.

i went to try and install the same rom again but this time when it goes into recovery, i immediately get that exclamation point triangle with the droid laying next to it...

i also get this error installing ANY other rom except for bugless beast.
please respond with any ways to fix this error, thanks!

You have to flash clockwork mod recovery 3 times in succession to get it to take. Do you end up having to reroot everytime?

everytime i get that exclamation point i take out the battery and reboot and try it again, i also tried the older clockworkmod version with no success.

so just keep flashing the current recovery?

The rom you are using is an older version of Ultimate droid. My guess is it is a 2.1 version.

Ultimate droid will not be updated on ROM manager. For other roms ROM manager does get updated. If you want UD you can look in his section here of the link I gave earlier is from his site.
