    Now that it's rooted...

    Two questions...

Can we remove the clock in the top bar and/or add the date?

Can we remove the unlock screen? I mean... if we have to hit the power button to turn the screen on, why have an unlock swipe?

if you want to remove the top bar why not just download a home app?

I don't want to remove the top bar... just the time and/or add the date so I don't have to have a separate app to have both. I know I can tap the bar to show the date... but I don't wanna.

home++ download it. You can keep the top bar or hide it.

They obviously did not read what you wrote.

I'm sure you can do all of that, it just depends on the ROM that you chose for the most part. Once people start developing custom ROMS I'm sure you'll find one with options like that.

Why would you want to remove the entire top bar?

    LMAO, jk.

I too would like the option of adding the date. The notification bar is a great "at-a-glance" look for general info--the date falls under this category.

Someone could probably write an app, if one doesn't exist, that displays the date as a constant notification.
    Weatherbug constantly shows a temperature.

Between that and the time you'll have no room for "real" notifications. What's the point? The lock screen says the date and if you have Beautiful widgets that has the date. Plus, how many times a day do we really need to know the date? Couldn't someone remember it after knowing it once? Or, wait here's a novel idea, can't we add one to yesterday's date?
