Not to be critical of the tutorial, but I've used apk manager for quite awhile and it's not quite as easy as the tutorial would make it seem. Also the example they used of what you can do with this tool was simply ridiculous.

you can use the hack to edit any part of your system, including framework-res.
I still think people should give it a shot. Anyone can do it (you don't need to be a "dev", or a "hacker" or have a computer science degree and certifications haha), anyone that is who has the ability to read a tutorial past 30 seconds of course...
What do I need to change text color on a third party app? Having WoW issue after flashing DE over BB v.5.

text color i'm not positive...i mean it's definitely an xml file, but you've gotta dig around in the apk to find it. which app are you talking about? i can try to take a look and see if i can figure it out.Quote:
