    Unhappy Rooting Droid Ally on a Mac

    This has to get old...everyone asking questions about rooting the android system...sorry. I have a droid ally and use a Mac computer I just got the other day. I haven't seen any posts about rooting the droid ally and I don't even know if it is different than any other droid, or many using a Mac. I am using the most up-to-date version of android which I believe is 2.1 on my ally. To my knowledge there is no way to root the 2.1 version yet. Please guide me through getting back to the last version and the root process on a Mac. Thanks!!

    Found all the info on rooting the Ally at android.com My sons is running so much better now.

    Here you go. LG Ally ROM/Root Guide: Updated [9:43AM EST, 9/30/2010] - Android Forums
    I used it step by step and running the custom kernel also.
