This is a discussion on Unroot Motorola Droid? within the Droid Hacks forums, part of the Droid Hacking category; If I am mistaken the default 2.0.1 OTA update is here:

You will need to do that when you do the restore to factory defaults. Things like renaming apps and removing the superuser will be on you to do (I think). I am not sure if the OTA replaces apps or updates apps

First one so that you still have root and can do any house cleaning. This one was just the factory original ota for 2.0.1

NOOO!!! lol that will break ya, never remove the core apps that were installed at your first boot up. What state are you at now, and I will see if I can point ya to a proper post.

OK so if you have the 99.1b SPRecovery you want to grab this:
http://www.sholes.info/wp-content/up...oem-backup.zip- push it to your nandroid directory
- boot into recovery
- select backup/restore
- select Advanced Nandroid restore
- select Choose backup
- select virginoem-backup.zip
- Leave the default restore options (unless you really know what you are doing)
Once the restore is done you should be able to reboot and be in 2.0.1
step 5, i accidentally hit "set backup name" now my screen reads "type a prefix to name your backup: >" it wont let me back out of it with the power button........... what the hell do i do now? haha
