Been hearing a lot about BB vs CM

Since before the BBv0.5 came out ive been hearing a lot of people saying they like CM better but it doesnt run as fast. So, I figured i would post what I did. I started with BB and it had the 800 kernel when i decided to install CM I noticed, with overclock widget, i was still able to run the 800. I then decided to try jdlfg 1200 kernel and just like that I was running 1200 on cyanogen. I even decided to download the new BB today but all i found was the same stock feeling rom with 800 mhz. Im now back to CM 6.0.0 with my 1200 mhz.
( BTW i have the utmost respect for pete and what he does BB IS awesome i just prefer the tweaks cyan offers)

Im confused. Did you try to run BB with the 1200 kernel?

No i didnt try it but i would guess it works. What i was saying is if people like Cyanogen better than Bugless, they can run it at the same speed.

i like CM better

I am not overclocked and 3 seprate quadrant runs show my D1 on BB.5 was 1055, 1048,and 1110. I know it says its set for 800, but it appears to be running much faster. Pre BB it was hitting 820's.

BB comes with an overclocked kernel.
