Any way to change behavior of bluetooth heaphones and default music player?

So here's the deal. On my stock Froyo, I have these bluetooth headphones by Rocketfish:


When I hit the 'play' button on the headphones, it automatically defaults to a radio app I have (retro radio) and starts playing the streaming music. I can press the 'next' and 'back' buttons and it changes stations that are stored in my favorites. Here's a shot of the widget on my phone:


So after I tried 2 different ROMS (BB and Chevy), when I use my BT headphones, it defaults to the native Droid player.
Is there anything I can do on the roms to have it default to the streaming radio like it was initially? This is a huge factor for me, since I use this at the gym 5 days a week. Thanks for any help!!

Try going into your Application Management and removing default permissions from the retro radio app.

Thanks I was researching how to stop vlingo from being my default bluetooth app, and this suggestion solved it for me. Nice work.

I just tried this out with my Droid 2, I have the same headset and problem, and the "Music" app doesn't have the "Clear Defaults" button lit up, so this won't help, unfortunately
