Startup app info plz?

So I've seen some apps on the market that kill apps on startup, through a taskiller, which I hate. I was wondering if there was a way to modify the system to delete unwanted startup apps. It doesn't have to be an app that does it atomaticly, I have root explorer, and root on my phone, so if there is a way to edit system files to get the job done, I wouldn't mind that.

But not using terminal emulator please, I'm too unexperienced with that.
