EasyRoot does not work on FRG22D version of 2.2. If you have a Droid 1, which is what it sounds like, use the following link. I know it will seem overwhelming but it's much easier than it seems when you read it - just follow each step precisely: Root Droid 1 - regardless of OS version

well that 2 bucks down the drain anything else i can do
Contact the dev - oh!! that's right you can't because it was stolen from the dev. Contact the guy that sold it to you. Maybe he can steal a solution.

Hey I just wana root my phone dont attack me, is there any other way i could root it?
Root Droid 1 - regardless of OS version is the best way. It's what I did. It may seem hard when you first look at it but it is easier than you think if you just go step by step.

Thanks! ill give it a try
Rooting is free and ANYONE can do it themselves. There's no need for apps to do it.
