    that's what I was wondering. He did say update to 2.1 first. Can anyone confirm that this is the real deal. This is the first post saying you can root from 2.1. I know for all us who already updated to 2.1. We would have to flash the sbf file to get back to 2.0.1. Then we can update and root to 2.1. Just need to know if this is rooting 2.1 for all of us already on 2.1

    The linked post was last edited in December 09. I highly doubt that it works on 2.1.

    Honestly those steps just look more complicated than the simple steps I did by flashing everything myself without adb.
    Please read this BEFORE you try to root.
    How to install Sholes.rom - I recommend using this before going onto other roms
    Please read this AFTER you root.
    UNroot your phone.
