So, I have spent the last 6 months rooted with droidmod but it has always been buggy for me. I decided to unroot and do the ota update for 2.2. Now I want to try UD7, but I can not reboot to sprecovery. When I hold the X and power up I get a yellow triangle and nothing happens. What do I need to do?
You are going to have to start over and load SPrecovery again just like you did when you first rooted.
Or you could get one of the one-click rooting apps like "easyroot"
You know it had been so long ago, I didn't remember loading SPrecovery, I thought it was there from the beginning. Thanks.
Sounds like you need to re-root. Use the link in my signature to root your phone. I have seen a lot of issues for people that are using the one button method or easy root so if you choose to use one of them, please be careful and make a backup before you do anything.
