Re: DROID HAS BEEN ROOTED @NeonXero if you where to read the first page. the "Method" has already been explain. go into the Recovery of the Droid, and simply Flash the file you've renamed "Update.zip"

seems like every time people question about what the root does they get a propaganda'ish vague-general answer...and I suspect it's because people do it simply to hack it, rather than have a true cause.

I suspect that people that need to be spoon fed such information really shouldn't be rooting their devices. People that actively seek out information tend to be the ones that would benefit from rooting.
