I have installed both update.zip files but I don't know how to run the emulator to get SU installed.
I installed the android SDK but I must be missing something. Any help is appreciated.
Nevermind lol
you've come to the right place. just figured it out myself.
1. you need to do this through CMD prompt (windows key + r... then type in cmd and press enter)
2. locate you android sdk folder through cmd prompt -> mine is c:\program files\android
3. then copy and paste every command exactly the way he does it, line by line . make sure you unzip the su.zip too. (AllDroid.org - View topic - DROID HAS BEEN ROOTED)
if you have any further questions let me know...

so what can we do so far with a "rooted" droid?
thats great news. i hope this stays alive with the updates
I downloaded the sdk and all apis from the developer site, but I can't find an android folder anwhere except the actual files i downloaded. In other words I don't think there's anything in my program files directory because I don't think I fully installed anything.
can said phone be unrooted?
im not asking what it means to root..
but im asking what are we goin to do nexT?
now that we have rooted the droid?
