.9.png HELL - Please Help
Okay, I am frustrated and want to beat the crap out of the person who made this .9.png crap. Can someone with experience please help me.
1. Can I edit .9.png in Photoshop and not use the Draw9 tool if I do the following?
A. In Photoshop, Click Select All
B. Click Select Modify | Border | and enter 1 px
C. This should provide a 1 px selected area that you can just delete all pixels.
D. Using 1 px black (#000000) pencil, place the black lines and dots in which you would do in Draw9 tool. Make sure that no more than 2 pixels are used on each of the top and left sides to mark the areas that can't expand.
E. Save with .9.png extension.
F. Compile project with Eclipse
The problem I have now is Eclipse is pointing to the .9.png files as not present.
I hate these damn .9.png files. Any thoughts? My understanding is that all Draw9 does is add a 1 px transparent border which you draw your black lines/dots in to mark the non expandable edges. Your help is appreciated.
Thanks
