system update available

This is a discussion on system update available within the Droid Hacks forums, part of the Droid Hacking category; i recently, this morning, installed bugless beast v0.4 on my 2.2 moto droid, rooted of course, but im still getting pop-ups saying "system update available ...

    system update available

    i recently, this morning, installed bugless beast v0.4 on my 2.2 moto droid, rooted of course, but im still getting pop-ups saying "system update available for froyo 2.2"

    If you have SPRecovery or Clockwork Recovery, let the update continue. It will tell you it is rebooting.

    It will reboot to your recovery console.

    Select the option to "Reboot". Do not select any options to install anything.

    thanks for that. it rebooted and got half way thru the install and said "install incomplete" then i just clicked reboot like you said, all fine and dandy now
