Is it possible to get exchange mail with out the service from Verizon? The same way Verizon Charges extra for Tethering and there is Easy Tether or PDANet. Is there something for getting exchange mail?
Thanks in advance.

Get Touchdown for Exchange in the market. Free for 30 days, then $20. It is well worth it, as it is the best mail app available.
The Mail App in 2.2 works in exchange mode. No need for Touchdown. What is your specific question? Like...how to set it up in Mail or what?
Nate
Basically I want to use work email, send & receive with upgrading my data plan to the corporate plan.

You can definitely sync with Exchange without the corporate plan. They aren't doing anything to block it at this point (and haven't since they started offering the two plans).
I started out on the corporate plan when it first came out but found out fairly quickly that it wasn't necessary and downgraded all of my accounts.
Also, there is no need to root your phone for this to work.
