SWYPE keyboard

Hey guys, just registered here and looking forward to this. I updated my D1 to 2.2 via leaked version on the web.

I'm wondering if anyone has been able to put the SWYPE keyboard on their D1?? And not just the trial version that expires. thanks

I've been running Swype on my D1 since Swype was released as a beta.

The Beta still works and I'm on 2.2

see I did the beta as well when it was released. after about 2 weeks it was saying trial period has ended, and i couldnt use the keyboard...

tried installing a file for it i found on the web and after i installed it it said "trial period is over" again..

If you have the Swype beta that they released, that will work

Swype is by far one of the best things I've been able to add to my droid 1.. <3 swype!~

If you have the Beta and it says 'trial expired', uninstall the Swype application (not the installer) and then go back and run the installer again, it will download Swype and prompt you for your e-mail address you registered for Swype

yeah everytime i try and use it it keeps giving me the "trial period is over" message..soooo lame

I've had great success with the uninstall/reinstall of Swype to get past the 'trial expired'
