    Droid 2 Swype

    Do know if anybody has got it to work yet but, I took the droid 2 swype from the system dump modified it a little and put it into the swype apk i already had and then put it on my phone. Here is a screenshot of the new swype if anybody wants it i'm goin to upload the apk. It will be in zip form since i cant upload apks so just extract it and install like any other apk. Credit goes to whoever posted the system dump on xda and to droidthatdude which is the guy that i got the original swype apk from. Edit: probably need to uninstall your old swype first, I did it that way so don't know if it will work if you don't. Here's the link reposted untill further word from a mod. Hopefully we can keep it up, if not i'm sorry.

    Cool, so it is up and running on the droid 1 no problem? Also I notice what used to be the enter button (on the bottom right) now seems to be split into 2 buttons but the left one doesn't show anything on it, do you know what the extra button is for?

    I dont know lol. It took a little for me to get it running didnt work at first so i just transfered the droid 2 images into the droid 1 apk and put it on and it worked. Someone more advanced at coding and what not may be able to get this working without the droid 1 apk, just figured this would be nice if somebody wanted it. The buttons are a little smaller on it, and the extra button did nothing when i touched it.

    On a real DroidX, that extra button in the bottom row is for Voice Input (it has a microphone icon)
