If you're running froyo, download the application app2sd.

What kind of phone do you have, and what version of Android are you running?

This can be found in settings/about phone

There is no application called app2sd, in Froyo it is part of the O/S although not all market apps are made to accommodate it quite yet

Then it cannot be done, unless you update to Android 2.2

Did you just recently purchase your Droid?

If you did less than 30 days ago, take it back and get the Droid 2 (set for release this week), it packs a whopping 8gb of internal storage, a bigger processor, and an updated keyboard.

How do you do it in Froyo? I did the manual install of 2.2, so I am running it.

Settings/Manage Applications then choose an application you would like to move, press on it and you will see the option to move it to the SD card, if the option is blacked out then it is not able to be moved.

It is suggested if it is an app that has a widget associated with it that you keep on a home screen to leave it in the system or you will have redraw issues with it
