What prog do you use?
I use PS, all you have to do is create a new file (or ctrl+n) and input your
dimensions. Paste the img you want, then hold ctrl+t (to transform) while holding shift so the img doen't come out lopsided/distorted.

Thanks for the quick response. I did what you said. When I transform the picture is it supposed to fill out all the white space? I just didnt notice anything different when I transformed the picture. For now i'll work on it assuming thats right. So I just placed the picture.
I am using Photoshop.
Awesome, just awesome. Perfect instructions. Worked without a hitch.
Just one question, does the image have to be 480x182 exactly?
My image got squished, presumably because it was so big to begin with. It looked like the M logo is a lot bigger.?
Thanks tallica, glad the tut was easy to follow, sry haven't been on to help in a bit... as stated in my original post containing the actual tutorial, this is just a transposed and polished form of someone elses tutorial, used from my experience using his process... his said those were the demensions, feel free to try a different different sized picture and let us know the outcome if you do... I'm learning along side everyone in this thread... hopefully a bigger pic will work, and if it does ill start posting confirmed picture demensions in the original post, but til I find otherwise, the demensions are 480x182... lad dodger, hope you figured everything out, but if not, feel free to ask and ill try and help u... and I don't believe it fills the white spaces for you, but I'm not too familiar with photoshop sorry
that's an awesome boot logo/image sickpig... I like it alot
